Hardwood Floor Restoration

Finish Line Hardwood has been restoring hardwood floors for more than forty-five years. Restoration or re-finishing is the perfect option for a tired looking hardwood floor that is already installed in your home. Some of the advantages to pursuing this option are listed below:

IMG 0596Lower Cost - It is a lot less expensive to get the look of a new floor by restoring and existing hardwood floor when compared to installing a new floor.

Numerous Stain & Finish Options - Once the floor is sanded, new stain and finish are applied. This allows for a change in appearance that suits the taste of the homeowner.

Shorter Duration - It takes considerably less time to refinish a floor than it does to install a new one.

IMG 0714Environmentally Friendly - Putting a new finish on your floor will use fewer of the earth's resources than a new floor will. Many hardwoods are in short supply with some of them being endangered or rationed. Our low VOC finishes do not put harmful chemicals into the atmosphere.

The best finish for a hardwood floor is one that is applied after the hardwood is completely installed and acclimated to your home. A variety of domestic and exotic woods can be installed and then finished in place.

Pre-Finished Hardwood

We can install a wide range of hardwood products from several manufacturers. Lumber species, plank width and finishes are determined by the availability of each manufacturer.

Composite Hardwood Flooring

Do you need a new floor installed over an existing floor? Composite flooring can be a solution. Using a thinner profile they can give you the look of hardwood while offering the ease of installation that a pre-finished modular product offers.

Laminate Flooring

Similar to composite flooring, laminate floors can be installed over existing floors. The main difference is that the finish material is a laminate material that is suitable for high traffic areas where hardwood may not be suitable.

Testimonials

"Thank you!!!!! So much. I am thrilled."
- Krista Norholt

"The floors couldn't have turned out any better. Absolutely stunning with everything in there now. Looks like a brand new house! Thanks again!"
- Mark Faetenini

"The floor looks great, better than when laid. The house is not dirty either, thank you very much!"
- Karen L Miller

"We had The Finish Line refinish a considerable amount of hardwood flooring throughout our home. We had concerns at the outset because we just had been given the keys to the house, so timing was an issue. Additionally, we had different colors, some were under carpet, some were newer...would they all match? We could not be more pleased. Not only did they custom mix our color, but the older and newer sections of flooring were seemless and looked as if we had just installed them. The big kicker was they got it done so quickly and worked us in so we could get in our home as fast as possible. I am in home construction and work around many hardwood finishing companies, but they were the best I've seen. Call The Finish Line, you won't be disappointed."
